Mission Statement

The CMSHTC board has approved revisions to our mission statement. We believe the new statement better reflects that multiple aspects of the work that we are doing. The new mission statement reads:

The Central Missouri Stop Human Trafficking Coalition exists to…

…end and prevent forced labor and sexual exploitation of innocent children, women, and men. Through active engagement in community collaboration and education, we seek to identify victims, expose traffickers and users, promote slave-free practices, and support survivors of human trafficking on their journey toward wholeness.

We envision communities free of modern-day slavery.
